HALONG BAY

Halong bay, an overnight trip on the junk boat. Bus ride from Hanoi to Halong City, waited at the harbour for bout an hour to board our boat. We booked our trip with 3 other welsh girls we met on the bus from Laos, we were the only young people on the boat.

Was quite a fun trip but i was REALLY ill and didn't really enjoy the experience to the maximum cause i was in a lot of pain. I probably did a lot of complaining, sorry about that. We had a really cute little room on the top deck which Georgie and shared, we had a lot of couples and hippy's on our boat, so of course out came their guitar and late night music sessions....really? are you really going to play that all night?

Then to top off the hippy sing song circle, we had a bit of Vietnamese karaoke which was basically the equivalent to a cat being strangled = HORRENDOUS. So of course i told them to turn it down as i was dying of heat as there was no air-con and they couldn't sing for shit. So off went the karaoke. BRILLIANT.
