Some pages of my sketch books.

I take a lot of pride in doing sketch book, i love picking things together, working colour, shapes, pictures and drawings. Matching them with swatches, yarn samples and woven structures. A way of showing my beginning idea built through a focus point which is then expanded through my own personal creative designing on the loom, which is then shown on my cloth samples.

A Look book can be presented in many forms:

A Blog or a documentary film

In the process of shooting and editing my look book photos.

They will shortly be a creative photographic reflection of my shapeshift project. Fingers Crossed.

Getting back into the swing of things after having so much time off and spending 3 weeks, shopping, sunbathing and chilling out. Its hard to hit back to reality and get cracking on some serious work.

Also with summer only round the corner, all my friends coming home from uni, lots of 21st's coming up isn't exactly the motivation which is encouraging me to work...wooops. Even though all that said i did get a lot of inspiration from an interview i went too, which has inspired me to get my blog flowing more and putting ideas together for a new project.

I hope this weather stays nice as it puts everything & everyone in such a better mood. Sun bring happiness. Saw Fast Five last weekend which i would also like to add doesn't let the rest of the collection down. ha Not sure as a girl why i like it so much, but its great. I always feel so thrilled after watching it. cheers

New Project:

Continuing on from our current 'Shapeshift' project forming an outfit with slight Resemblance's and ideas around a sport wear theme. Its just taking an idea and showing wear you can take it with your own inspiration and creativity. Its very open, very broad. It has to have a element relating to the body form or ways in which fashion has to design clothes around the body. So how clothes hang, fit, shape or sculpt the figure of the body, going from all different shapes and sizes.

So: this project is a look book reflecting our overall themes and inspiration for this project, it should show what you would sum up your project in through one book. It can be as creative as you like and as minimal as you like. So i have been scanning the internet looking through websites, blogs and general fashion look books to add some inspiration to my creativity.
